Belchem Singapore Pte Ltd was incorporated on 7 January 2004, a joint venture between Chemikalien Seetransport Gmbh and Belships Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd, specializing in tankers management.

In 2004, Belchem Singapore received the ISM Code Certification, and in 2005 the ISM Code/ISO 9001:2000 / ISO 14001: 2004 Integrated Management System Certification.

Received certification for OHSAS 18001:2007 in July 2011.
